As a boxer, Zuberi lacks finesse and footwork in the ring, but makes up for it through sheer punching power and the use of the knuckle duster daggers, preferring a less mobile, more stable platform even if having difficulty pursuing fighters who are fast on their feet.
He has a preference for powerful but slow uppercuts and hooks, however he's still fully capable of short flurries of punches, slashes and stabs, though these are reserved for when he corners or closes his distance enough to his opponent.
He also has a tendency to ignore combination punching in favor of continuous beat-downs with one hand and by throwing slower, more powerful single punches (such as hooks and uppercuts). His slowness and predictable punching pattern (single punches with obvious leads) often leaves him open to counter punches, so he must be able to absorb substantial amounts of punishment, making him able to endure up to a pro boxer hook. Zuberi's most important assets are power and chin (the ability to absorb punishment while remaining able to continue boxing).
Given his slowness and firm stance, Zuberi's defense consists in blocking with his arms and bobbing mainly, with some slipping and clinching, and little to none footwork as he prefers to remain in one place.
Because of this style of defense, and the lack of kicks, Zuberi's lower body is more susceptible to attacks, yet his firm stance makes it hard to throw him off of balance; however once on the ground Zuberi is rather inefficient and has no proper way to recover.
While his sides remain protected by his arms and elbows during the guard stance, they are wide open for attack when he throws a punch or hook.
On the ring against another boxer of his same level, Zuberi could stand rather well for 6 rounds of 3 minutes each, with a break of 2 minutes between each round. Outside the ring, without the breaks and more damage sources, Zuberi can fight for around 12 minutes, pending how much damage he endures against a single opponent.
Against multiple opponents, Zuberi can last approximately 6 minutes, pending on how much damage his opponents do, and of course pending on how many opponents he has, with more than 3 being almost surely a lost fight for the Tau.
